A dazzling new addition to Cambridge’s Artist Garden has people pausing midstride — and sometimes mid-drive.
The parametric sculpture, designed by Toronto-based artist Asli Alin, shimmers like a crystal and shifts in colour and form depending on the light and angle of view. Inspired by natural patterns found in honeycombs, snowflakes and crystals, the sculpture is composed of interlocking polyhedral modules.
Its prismatic design creates a unique topography, blending nature’s geometry with modern artistry.
The result? A show-stopping piece that invites curiosity and encourages interaction.
